The next Turkmenistan-UK Trade & Industry Council (TUKTIC) meeting will take place in London on Monday 22 January 2018. This meeting has the full support of the Government of Turkmenistan and we expect a senior level delegation from Ashgabat led at Deputy Prime Minister level. A full list of the delegation will be sent to those registered to attend, but is unlikely to be available until about 2 weeks before the meeting.

A range of sectors will be represented, but we expect a focus on energyfinancial servicescombating corruption and agriculture.

TUKTIC was established by the British Embassy in Ashgabat and the Government of Turkmenistan in October 2010, so that opportunities for increasing trade and investment between the two countries could be discussed at the highest levels with the private and public sectors. The UK Co-Chair is retired Ambassador Ronald Nash, with the Turkmen Co-Chair being at Deputy Prime Minister level.

The plenary meeting will take place during the morning of Monday 22 January starting with registration and coffee from 0930 followed by a networking lunch at c.1300. A detailed agenda will be sent to those registered nearer the time. In the afternoon there will be the opportunity for one-on-one meetings with the delegation. When we have the details of the Turkmen delegation those registered will be invited to apply for individual meetings. There will also be an evening reception from 1800 at Lancaster House to which all delegates will also be invited.

Attendance is £95 plus VAT for all delegates, apart from Sponsors.
