Speaker: The Rt Hon Stephen Crabb MP
There has been much discussion around how UK industry will deal with a shortage of migrant workers post Brexit. This subject is of special significance given the reliance of many sectors on workers from the EU, both at a trades and professional level; and at a time when many employers are already struggling with a skills shortage. Can the UK continue to attract sufficient migrant workers from EU, or can we train enough home-grown talent to meet demand?
Stephen Crabb served as Secretary of State for Work and Pensions from 19 March 2016 until 14 July 2016. He previously served as Secretary of State for Wales from July 2014 until March 2016 and as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Wales Office from 2012 to 2014. He was elected as Conservative MP for Preseli Pembrokeshire in 2005. Prior to being elected Stephen worked in communications and policy roles with London Chamber of Commerce and the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services.
