Speakers: Senior representatives from Afken Water, Gama, Yuskel

Supported by the Department for International Trade, British Expertise International and British Water are delighted to announce an Innovation Exchange with three leading Turkish contractors who are engaged in global water projects. This event will enable UK companies to present their innovative solutions to senior representatives from Akfen Water, Gama and Yuksel.

This Innovation Exchange will offer water and wastewater technology experts and PPP advisors a chance to showcase and highlight their innovations, concepts, cost-savings and advancements in the water sector directly to decision makers who are working on projects in Turkey, the Middle East and other markets. The Innovation Exchange offers presenting companies a 10 minute presentation slot to pitch their solutions to all three contractors. This is followed by a 5 minute Q&A session.

Turkey has successfully established Public Private Partnership (PPP) strategies, programs, policies and legislation in a variety of  sectors including hospitals, airports and energy. Yet in the water and waste water sector Turkey lacks a centralized, coherent approach, and motivation at both municipal and ministry levels for establishing legal, economic and political drivers for a successful PPP structure in water and waste water sectors. It would be helpful to hear best practice/possible solutions and case studies in this area.

Turkey is also looking for British companies who have Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) experience and/or proven technologies in the areas of water and environmental technologies:

  • Waste Water Treatment
    • Municipal Waste Water Treatment
    • Industrial Waste Water Treatment
  • Desalination
    • Reverse Osmosis
    • Thermal
  • Sludge Incineration
    • Sludge Dryers
    • Fluidized Bed Incinerators
  • Solid Waste Management
    • Sorting Systems
    • Gasification / Incineration
  • Sea water treatment/desalination
  • Water treatment technologies
