This meeting is organised for AECOM, a BEI member, which is leading the Delivering Procurement Services for Aid (DPSA) service.
Delivering Procurement Services for Aid (DPSA) was launched in March 2016 to support the Department for International Development (DFID) with its global procurement and logistics requirements.
On 21st September DPSA has arranged for Darron Cox, its Chief Executive, to speak about the new service, the opportunities available for partnership and innovation, and the benefits of working with DPSA.
DPSA manages the sourcing, contracting and delivery of items critical to delivering aid programmes worldwide - from power-generation equipment and vehicles, to IT hardware and pharmaceuticals.
The service is designed to be easy-to-use and responsive, allowing for local and global sourcing as well as safe, reliable and timely delivery. Dedicated Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs) provide a single point of contact for DFID country offices, programme suppliers, partner organisations and governments.
DPSA is an AECOM-led service, supported by partners with industry leading supply chain capabilities across five continents, including fragile and conflict affected states.
The new service is both adaptable and flexible, allowing greater opportunities for more strategic approaches to procurement.
